After an initial consultation, we will create a patio or walkway that fits your individual style and needs. The majority of patios and walkways we install are dry laid as it holds numerous advantages over concrete.
To create the best environment for you, Bluestone Gardens begins by excavating the area where steps are to be laid and shooting grades. We will decide if you are best served by using one large slab or in building a riser out of stone and bluestone, then capping it.
Once a garden layout has been determined, it may be necessary to build a retaining wall or add stone to mortar to provide a dry look. With Bluestone’s wide variety of products to choose from, your garden will be as individual as you are.
We have considerable expertise in building walls, and are very careful to avoid disrupting the natural environment as much as possible when excavating to install a wall. When space is a limited, hand digging is implemented in place of using heavy equipment.
